BELLA: Were you more physical or intellectual growing up? Annamarie: I would say I was both. I attended catholic school for 9 years so teachers were on top of my grades 100% but I also tried a different sport every school year. It was fun to learn!
BELLA: What do you do for fun? Annamarie: I enjoy dancing, writing, fashion designing, hanging out with my friends & cheerleading.
BELLA: How did it feel to win Miss NY Teen Belleza Latina? Annamarie:Winning Miss NY Teen Belleza Latina was an absolute dream come true. It is something that I have worked very hard to achieve and winning gave me a satisfaction of knowing all my hard work paid off.
BELLA: What nationality are you? Annamarie: I am Ecuadorian and Mexican
BELLA: What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you? Annamarie: I was bullied a lot when I was younger. I used to be a very shy girl. I barely spoke, I had low self esteem. I was very chubby and awkward. I managed to overcome my self esteem issues & lose a whole lot of weight!
BELLA: what are you most looking forward to now that you live in Florida? Annamarie: Im looking forward to meeting many new people, finding more opportunities and having a beautiful glowing tan!
BELLA: What's your best feature? Annamarie: My best feature Is my hair. Its so long and beautiful. Even though I style my hair a lot with heat products, it still looks very healthy.
BELLA: What's your favorite sport? Annamarie: Cheerleading by far! I've been cheering since I was 6.
BELLA: What is a Bella girl to you? Annamarie: A Bella girl is someone who beautiful not only on the outside, but on the inside as well. Also a girl who is confident, independent and can present herself with pride and elegance.
BELLA: How do you get yourself energized before a shoot? Annamarie:I listen to positive music and sing along!
BELLA: Where do you see yourself in five years? Annamarie: In 5 years I see myself studying at FIT, hopefully working for Seventeen magazine, continuing with modeling, Pageants and possibly a movie!
BELLA: What is you favorite part of modeling so far? Annamarie: My favorite part of modeling would be the feeling and excitement of being on stage ,in front of the camera and meeting so many people!
BELLA: What don’t you like about modeling? Annamarie: What I don’t like about modeling is how many fashion shows require a height requirement. I don’t find it very fair! Some of the best models are under 5’9 but most of us never get a chance to showcase our talents because we are shunned because of our height. Great things come in small packages!
