Racism, sexism, doesn't cease to exist
Our ship's stuck in the fog, caught in the mist
When people want to be with the same sex, let it be
They deserve control over whom to marry
Worry about the crime in schools
Many of us ignorant, act like fools
No direction, no care, just our selfish need
We can travel to the Middle East
We are hungry, want money, and steal oil
Then blame the president for being in turmoil
Too much care about money, the accolades
Ignoring bombs exploding, our children unsafe
We have cameras on the streets, get tickets, and pay the cops
Schools and movie theatres keep burning, but do you make it stop?
We blame the president, the government, but how about you
You're just sitting, waiting, watchin' the news
We say we're hurt by the damage of these murderers, evil villains
Yet our laws remain twisted, no wonder why they keep on killin'
The criminal caught red handed, blows off your legs
Yet they're granted Miranda rights, do we expect to get answers instead?
How do we expect to get answers by always following the rulebook
Look at how it's turned out, look at all that they've took
Our twin towers, our bodies, our children's innocence gone
The true celebrities, our educators, we sure do them wrong
Yet you're still sitting there, while we continue to get ripped off
Allowing non-U.S. citizens to get away with murder once they are caught
